Liposuction or liposculpture is a surgical procedure to remove unwanted fat from:

Fat is removed through a tiny almost invisible incision, a narrow tube or cannula is inserted and used to vacuum the fat layer that lies deep beneth the skin.

When small areas are treated, surgery can be done in local anesthesia with sedation.
This means going home on the same day.
Support girdle must be worn night and day for about a month.
